Project Architect/Designer

We are seeking a high-performing and motivated Architect to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Architectural Design from site surveys, code research, design and space planning to construction documents and construction observation.

 

Responsibilities
  • Assists in preparing Construction Documents in collaboration with others
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  •  Researches architectural products and materials
  •  Direct client contact
  • Coordination with consultants, project managers and contractors
  • Enjoy all aspects of an architectural project and is flexible to accept a full range of tasks &
    responsibilities
  • Self-checks work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and for document compliance
  • Responsible for maintaining a professional work ethic and commitment
Skills & Qualifications
  •  Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program
  •  A minimum of 3 years of experience working on commercial projects
  • Proficiency in Revit with experience creating Construction Documents
  • Skilled in 3D rendering software
  • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of professional services from schematic design through project close-out. Experience with accessibility, building codes, zoning, permitting and generally
    knowledgeable in jurisdictional processes.
  • Ability to take initiative and be pro-active
  • Good time management/prioritization and decision-making skills, flexibility and attention to
    detail
  • Experience in multi-family, mixed-use and educational projects is preferred

Interior Designer

We are seeking a highly creative and
motivated Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects
of Design from site surveys, design and space planning, product selection and specification to
construction documents and construction observation.

 

Responsibilities
  • Assists in the production of Design Presentations and Construction Documents in collaboration
    with others
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Direct client contact
  • Coordination with consultants, project managers and contractors
  • Enjoy all aspects of a design project and is flexible to accept a full range of tasks and
    responsibilities
  • Meet with product reps and control the Materials Library
  • Self-checks work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and for document compliance
  • Responsible for maintaining a professional work ethic and commitment
Skills & Qualifications
  •  Professional degree in Interior Design from an accredited program
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working on commercial projects
  • Proficiency in Revit with experience creating Construction Documents
  • Proficient in design software and 3D rendering with experience creating Design Presentations
  • Experience with accessibility and building codes
  • Experience in effective conceptual design, space planning, design development, material,
    lighting and furniture selection and Construction Document production
  •  Ability to take initiative and be pro-active
  • Good decision-making skills, flexibility, focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Experience in multi-family, educational and corporate interior projects is preferred

A/D Technical Coordinator 

We are seeking a highly creative and
motivated Technical Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The
candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining drawing standards, quality control and
technical development in the office.

Responsibilities 
  • Provide design-driven technical and management leadership to the Nia team
  • Responsible for the issuance, content and coordination of deliverables/documents that maintain
    the Nia standards and graphics
  • Collaborative coordination with other consultants and disciplines
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance methods that will maximize accuracy, thoroughness,
    appearance, efficiency, bid ability and constructability. Develop and monitor the overall
    document production strategy for the office as a whole and for each project as required.
  •  Develop ways to organize and execute technical development in order to increase productivity,
    building skill level and eliminating duplication of efforts
  • Mentor & assist less experienced staff and review work for accuracy, omissions, legibility and
    document compliance
  •  Responsible for maintaining a professional work ethic and commitment
Skills & Qualifications
  • Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program
  • Licensed Architect or are in the process of acquiring (preferred)
  • A minimum of 10 years post-grad experience working on commercial project
  •  Proficiency in Revit. Must understand how to set up and maintain projects, files and work sets
  • Extensive knowledge of QA/QC best practices, construction methodology and building systems
  •  Ability to take initiative and be pro-active
  • Good time management/prioritization and decision-making skills, flexibility and attention to
    detail. Ability to adapt to changing priorities
