Alexis is a project designer who has over six years of experience in architecture, lighting, and urban design. Her project experience ranges from small-scale interior fit-outs to large-scale healthcare facilities. She has an excellent ability to learn from urban environments, see how they are used, and then apply that knowledge to projects. Before working at Nia Architects, Alexis spent two years as an architectural associate, designing cafes, bars, and restaurants across the United States. She also worked on residential lighting projects and a transportation hub for the city of Toledo.
When Alexis is not practicing architecture, she enjoys volunteering in the community and knitting. However, her self-professed “greatest accomplishment” was her ability to train her dog to ride in her bike basket. This has allowed them to ride around the city together!
