K.E ZHANG is a BFA graduate of the SAIC. During her undergraduate studies, K. E focused on Architecture, Eco Design, Historic Preservation, and Graphic Design. As a Graphic designer, She has been instrumental in creating many journeys on NEXT.cc and starting NEXT.cc’s Worksheets series for K12 students, which has been used by teenagers over hundreds of countries. Most of her Architecture designs deal with conflicts and cooperation between historic-cultural context and future development. Her installation proposes and considers time, space, and material flow. K.E was a curation volunteer for Chicago Architecture Biennial and Chicago Open House. K.E is also the founder of KeyElements Studio. K.E is the main writer and chief editor of ZL Garden, main gallery curator of the online exhibition on keyelements-studio.com.
