Folarin Ijelu
Project Designer
Folarin Ijelu is a very skilled designer with local and international design experience. As a part of Nia, Folarin has been very instrumental in the design and development of various multi-family housing and healthcare projects throughout the City of Chicago.
Originally from Philadelphia, Folarin competed in track and field at the University of Pittsburgh in college. Following bachelors degree, he would complete his Masters of Architecture from the University of Illinois and then spend a couple of years working on high profile international projects.
Over the past couple of years, Folarin has been gracious enough to work on various projects away from the office, on Chicago’s West Side and Washington DC. When in town, Folarin commutes via the Red and Blue Line from his Lakeview home where he enjoys tending to his various houseplants.
