Sigurd Kolemainen

A mid-western native, Sigurd’s experience is world-wide. A wish to be multicultural, he worked for over seven years in Berlin and Hamburg. All together, Sigurd brings over thirty years of experience to Nia Architects.

He specializes in Retail, Mixed-use, multi-family housing and high-rise construction. Sigurd’s design philosophy focuses on innovated design, practicality and constructability. His list of built structures exceeds fifty, noting the management of large projects which include mixed-use and shopping centers.

Sigurd is a Licensed Architect in the State of Illinois.
